White House Secretary says Peter Doocy ‘sounds like a stupid son of a b****’ because of Fox’s questions

In a jab at Fox News, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that questions provided to reporter Peter Doocy may make him “look like a foolish son of a bitch,” according to the Washington Post. Psaki was responding to questions provided by the network.

When Dan Pfeiffer questioned guest Psaki whether Doocy is a “dumb son of a bitch” or if he “plays a stupid son of a bitch on television” during a Thursday night interview on “Pod Save America,” Psaki responded affirmatively.

The response from Psaki was, “He works for a network that supplies individuals with questions that aren’t personal to anybody, even Peter Doocy, but that might make anyone appear like a foolish son of a bitch.”

An allusion to the famous hot-mic incident in January, when Vice President Joe Biden addressed Doocy by the same nickname after questioning him about inflation’s impact on the midterm elections. Doocy seemed to blow off the incident, and Biden is said to have apologized to Doocy over the phone.

In an interview with Insider, a Fox News representative defended Doocy’s reporting and said that the network does not give questions to the reporter.

“Peter Doocy’s responsibility as White House reporter is to extract the truth from those in positions of authority on behalf of the American people. His inquiries are his own, he is an excellent reporter, and we are incredibly pleased with the job he has accomplished “The statement went on to say.

In response to Doocy’s line of inquiry, Doocy and Psaki have battled during the last two years, but the situation seems to have been patched out.

In response to a request for comment, a spokesman for Psaki did not immediately react to the message.
