SMOKING GUN: Durham Drops Bombshell, Text to FBI Shows Clinton Campaign Lawyer Lied

The Special Counsel, John Durham, has filed yet another explosive court document, according to a report by John Solomon of Just The News. “Durham for the first time [has] recommended Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign,” Solomon writes. They created a “joint endeavor or conspiracy” to wrap the collusion narrative to hurt Trump’s election prospects and then start his administration,” she said.

These parties engaged in joint venture activities and should thus be regarded as ‘co-conspirator[s]’ in the case, according to the judge.

It was also revealed that Durham had discovered a text message showing Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann falsely claiming to the FBI that he was not working on behalf of any client when he delivered now-discredited anti-Trump research in the lead up to last year’s election, according to the New York Times’s David Solomon. “According to prosecutors, he was working for the Clinton campaign as well as another client.”

Read the following text exchange between former FBI General Counsel James Baker and Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann to have a better understanding of the situation:

“Jim, this is Michael Sussmann calling. I need to talk to you about something that is both time-critical and sensitive. Do you have any availability for a brief meeting on Tuesday or Wednesday? Coming on my own, rather than on behalf of a customer or corporation, I’m hoping to provide a helping hand at the Bureau. Thanks.”

Durham’s request said that “the defendant lied in that meeting, falsely declaring to the General Counsel that he was not bringing the charges to the FBI on behalf of any client,” according to the document. At least two particular customers were represented by the defendant, namely a technology executive (“Tech Executive-1”) from a U.S. Internet firm (“Internet Company-1”) and (ii) the Clinton campaign, who had collected and provided the FBI with the claims.

It was emphasized by the prosecution that Sussmann acknowledged making the FBI contact on behalf of his client in House testimony a year later.

According to Sussmann’s testimony in a deposition given by then-House Intelligence Committee Republican investigative counsel Kash Patel, “we had a chat, as attorneys do with their clients, about client 1 goals and objectives and the best course of action for a client. As a result, we may have made a choice jointly.” So, I don’t want to make it seem like we were in any type of confrontation or that I was ordered to do anything against my will.”

On the other hand, Durham told the court he intends to present evidence that the Clinton campaign and others collaborated with a “joint venture” to promote a now-debunked story that Trump had a secret computer channel at the Moscow-based Alfa Bank with the Kremlin to hijack the election, which has since been discredited.

As a first step, the government believes that evidence at trial will show that the defendant, Tech Executive-1, and Clinton campaign agents were “acting in concert toward a common goal,” namely, the goal of assembling and disseminating the Russian Bank-1 allegations and other derogatory information about Trump and associates to the media and the U.S. government, Durham’s team said. Trump associates were also a target, the team said.

In November 2016, shortly after the election, Tech Executive-1 contacted a coworker to say that “I was informally given the top [cybersecurity] position by the Democrats when it appeared like they’d win,” according to the prosecution.
