Biden In PANIC MODE After Psaki SLIPS UP Talking About Hunter’s ‘Business’ Deals

Erica Carlin (Erica Carlin) So, according to the general’story,’ Biden never spoke to his son about his business dealings in foreign nations, and he was surely not involved—BUT, they add, if he was involved, it was while he was out of office. A reporter grilled the White House Press Secretary, and she blundered.

The interviewer wanted to know if Biden still held by his claim that he did not communicate to his son about business, especially now that information about other questionable Biden dealings from years ago has surfaced.

PBS’s Lisa DeJardins asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki for comment on the New York Post’s latest Hunter Biden findings, while Fox’s Jacqui Heinrich asked whether President Joe Biden still stands by his claims that he never discussed Hunter’s business dealings with him or anyone else during Tuesday’s briefing.

Oh, and did I mention the icing on the cake? Psaki said that she didn’t have any knowledge from ‘ten years ago.’ When Biden was Obama’s Vice President, that is. I mean, she’s a White House employee, right? Isn’t it true that they’re keeping an eye on the personnel there? Or do they merely monitor’some’ people, such as Trump?

“On the Hunter Biden reporting that we’ve seen come out,” Heinrich inquired. Is the President still claiming that he never discussed his financial interests with his son? Is he also saying that he has never spoken to his son’s business associates about his son’s business affairs, given this reporting on Eric Schwerin?”

Here’s where Psaki goes wrong:

“He continues to make the same claims that he has previously stated. I’d say — I understand you’re referring to WAVES albums from more than a decade ago. I don’t have any other information or details on them. I’d want to point out that there was a period when WAVES records were unavailable, but I don’t have any additional information on trips dating back more than ten years.”

Psaki confessed that the details for such deals are at least ten years old in her attempt to land a nasty little response. Which is to say, do you have any idea where Biden was ten years ago? Because I certainly do. As Obama’s Vice President, he was busy doing nothing.

Is anyone seriously believing the White House didn’t retain meticulous records during the Obama-Biden administration? Don’t they spy on every president, or did they save it all for Trump? Please have a look and let me know your thoughts.

BOSE, NANDITA: A short inquiry about Dr. Jha’s comments about the number of cases increasing and the VP testing positive. Can you talk a little bit about whether the administration and society as a whole have moved away from mitigation efforts like masking a little too quickly? Is the government considering tightening any of those measures, particularly the ones that have been loosened?

PSAKI, Jen: The CDC and our public health officials make those decisions and make those recommendations. As a result, I don’t have anything to show you. Those are their judgments, and we must certainly follow them from here. I’d like to remind you that their suggestions are based on what part of the country you live in — right? — whether it’s a green zone, a yellow zone, or a higher-risk zone.

And they continue to urge masking on federal transportation — you know, that we abide by — and we do as well from here. As a result, I don’t have any changes to show you. However, as Dr. Jha stated, our priority remains on tracking and lowering hospitalizations and fatalities, as we stated when we unveiled our 100-page plan. And we’re well aware that with a highly transmissible variety, there could be case spikes, as we’ve seen with BA.2 in recent weeks.

JIANG WEIJIA: Does [Joe Manchin’s] statement that Title 42 should not be repealed until there is an immigration policy concern you?

PSAKI: No, that’s not the way it works. Obviously, Title 42 is – Congress delegated jurisdiction to the CDC. They came to a conclusion. If Congress wishes to deliberate — make any decisions — regarding Title 42’s next steps, they can do so together. But it is an authority or a choice that must — must be made by the body in which he works.

JACQUI HEINRICH (JACQUI HEINRICH): We’ve heard you claim on Title 42 that this is a public health order, not an immigration order, and that the CDC made the decision. Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, however, who met with the President yesterday, recounted part of what he said. And, according to one of them, the President told the group that he was looking forward to eliminating Title 42, which he described as an excuse to keep people out of the nation and anti-immigrant. Is it true that the President wants Title 42 repealed because it was a Trump-era policy?

PSAKI: Well, the President has never believed that Title 42 is an effective immigration strategy, as he stated throughout the campaign. However, the CDC has always had the ability to make that decision. And, unlike his predecessor, he left the CDC to make that judgment on a variety of issues. So, the President has never hidden the fact that he believes immigration reform is required, and that Title 42 was never meant to be a substitute for comprehensive immigration reform that would implement improved security and ensure a functioning asylum processing system. And it’s something he’d be happy to collaborate on with anyone to accomplish.

HEINRICH: So, if the circumstances merited it, would the White House want to see the CDC reimpose Title 42 if the instances have increased and the measures that they use to measure that have increased?

PSAKI: Well, the CDC, once again, has the right to determine what the health conditions merit, so we’ll leave any choices or suggestions up to them.

HEINRICH: Is there any concern about getting confirmations through this week with the Vice President out — obviously, she’s broken a lot of ties for votes — and then we have senators; I believe Warre- — Wyden and Murphy are both out?

PSAKI: I’d say there are a few Democrats who have revealed that they have tested positive for COVID as well. You could be referring to the nominees for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors or someone else. Members and leaders in Congress will work to resolve this issue. We are certain that we have the necessary votes to confirm them. We’re looking forward to putting them in place. But, of course, we’ll need everyone – all members — to help.

HEINRICH: Then I had a follow-up question for Dr. Jha about something he mentioned previously.

PSAKI: Of course.

HEINRICH: We’ve discussed the administration’s decision to send more resources to the border —

PSAKI: You’re right.

HEINRICH: — as well as resources for immunizing refugees. And I believe your response was something along the lines of, “We have enough funding and supply to take care of the 23 sites that DHS will be running to get migrants vaccinated and also take care of uninsured Americans,” the last time I asked about this. But, based on his response, it appears that this is no longer the case. So, are we reaching a point when people or the administration will have to pick between delivering resources to migrants crossing the border and caring for uninsured Americans?

PSAKI: Jacqui, I’d be delighted to look at those resources. I believe our general concern about COVID funding stems from a few of the issues he raised. One of them is ensuring that we are ahead of the game in terms of being able to order ahead of time for a variety of therapies that will help ensure that we have the finest vaccines, boosters, and enough supplies once those under the age of 50 become eligible. And, of course, we want to continue to run all of our programs around the country. However —

HEINRICH: And I have one additional comment on the Hunter Biden information that has surfaced. Is the President still claiming that he never discussed his financial interests with his son? Is he also saying that he has never spoken to his son’s business partners about his son’s business affairs, given this reporting on Eric Schwerin?

PSAKI: He continues to make the same claims that he has previously stated. I’d say — I understand you’re referring to WAVES albums from more than a decade ago. I don’t have any other information or details on them. I’d want to point out that there was a time when WAVES records were unavailable, but I don’t have any information on trips dating back more than ten years.
